To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of my original khao soi video, I made a better one :)
Khao soi is the single most famous northern Thai dish outside of Thailand, and for good reasons. Egg noodles in an aromatic curry broth, tender braised meat, crispy noodles...I mean...how could you not love it? It's become so popular now that it has been asked...is khao soi the new pad thai??
I'm so excited to share this new one and I am happy to say the video is MUCH much better.

Boat Noodles with Mama. When I shared my boat noodles recipe I mentioned that you can order it with a variety of noodles. And one very popular option is with Mama noodles, yes, Mama the instant noodles, which makes it quick and convenient.
This was the broth I made when I filmed the boat noodles video which I had kept frozen and the flavour was just as good as it was on the day. Used napa cabbage instead of bean sprouts and it worked very well!
