⚠️ SENTIMENTAL POST INCOMING ⚠️🥹 I posted my very first YouTube video on the 23rd of July 2023, almost exactly a year ago. I remember feeling scared about what people were going to think, how stupid and weird I thought I sounded, and how I had no clue or expectation of where any of this was going to lead me. I also remember how ecstatic I was when that first video got a grand total of 70 views (even though most of them were from a friend sharing the link on his IG story 😅).
It's crazy to think how drastically my life has changed since then, and how much I've evolved and grown, not just as a content creator, but as a person in general. Now don't get me wrong, I'm still VERY far off from where I want to be, but I think it's also important to look up from being hunched over that laptop screen once in a while, if only to remind yourself of how far you've come, and how insanely proud you should be for getting to where you are now :)
Truth be told, I'm incredibly grateful for past Tika; for taking a chance on herself, for diving into the deep end when there was no guarantee of success, and for showing up for herself and continuing to make videos even on the days she felt uncertain / unmotivated / discouraged (and trust me, there were, and are still, a LOT of those days).
I hope that whoever is reading this, whatever your dreams or goals may be, that you take a chance on yourself too. This is a reminder that the journey is hard and long but that you deserve to know what a life of not giving up on yourself looks like ❤️

Hey guys, it's been a while! Hope you've been well ☺️ I'll be posting my next video this Sunday where I'll finally reveal which country I'll be staying in for the next year 👀✨ in the meantime I just wanted to post a little life update 🤗
I took some time off YouTube in June to spend quality time with friends and family in Sweden. It was the most healing and wholesome time 🥺❤️ and very much needed after quitting my 9-5 back in March. Went on a lot of beautiful walks/hikes, ate amazing pastries over fika (kannelbulle will always have my heart), got to experience Midsommar for the first time, and created lots of wonderful memories with the people I love.
Fast forward to the present - I landed in country X a couple weeks ago to start a new life, and I couldn't be more excited to share that journey with you!
