Last Thursday, I fell down these stairs. (I was trying to carry too much garbage in my arms at once.) My shoe caught on the carpet and I fell head-over-heels the whole way. I am blessed that I broke just one finger, but I do have quite a bit of soft tissue damage on the right side of my body and my left hand is a mess. It will take time to heal. Take care of yourself and don’t carry so much stuff down a flight of stairs that you can’t grasp the hand rail. 😀

No video this Friday. Here’s a bit of what I did before my arthritis acted up. I decluttered my closet more (pretty much done with it) and decluttered a kitchen cabinet that was driving me nuts. I made sourdough cookies, crackers, bread, and cinnamon rolls. It was fun. I’m learning that if I’m serious about living simply, I must slow down when my body acts up. It’s giving me a message I need to listen to. New joints are swelling and growing bone spurs, so I need to give them a chance to settle down. I don’t want to make a lousy video just to publish something each week, so I’m taking enough time to make one that I hope will be helpful. I’m doing lots of research so I will have something meaningful to say in the next one. Take care of yourself and I’ll see you soon!
