EVERY cam that goes through our cam shop gets verified on a state of the art measuring tool made by Adcole. This tool is used to verify journals and lobes, consistency, match to the specs on the cam card, lift, duration, straightness.....we check and measure what we make. There truly is #NoComparison #COMPWins

This weekend we're at the NSRA nationals in Louisville KY. Its a much smaller show than normal, but spirits are good with the folks that made it and happy to be doing what we love. Looking at and talking cars and horsepower all day! If you're in the area, stop by and say hello!

Our MSE workhorse!

This is our primary MSE machine (we also have a couple smaller ones). The MSE or Micro Surface Enhancement process takes the surface finish of a ground camshaft to near perfection. Were getting ready to shoot a full video on the process, why its critical for long term engine wear and how it helps to further stabilize your valve train on hydraulic and solid roller engines. We've reinvested a significant amount to develop this industry leading technology and your COMP Cam is the beneficiary. We hope to have the video out soon!

What are your questions?

A shot of our very crowded, very busy R&D center. Hey there's a pandemic going on, but we haven't taken our foot off the gas! We've got some amazing new products we're working on and we're not going to quit innovating.

What questions do you have about how we conceptualize, engineer and test new product ideas? I'll try to answer what I can!

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday and the rest of the week!

Here's a little tech/trivia question.

Why do we move cams through the shop in a container that stands them on end? I'll pin the answer in a few hours.

FYI....its Monday! Go build something fun!

Tell us! What are YOU working on today? Cars, trucks or otherwise! What projects are taking up your time? Got a fun build you're documenting on YouTube? Tell us about it!

BTW....we're in the cam shop making horsepower. ;)
