And please don't say that he has been "misunderstood" because that is, frankly, ridiculous.

For Christians: If One believes in God, and the Messiah BUT they completely reject Paul and his teachings….are they STILL saved?

Dear Pastors, if the traditions are not taken directly from paganism (even though they are exactly the same) then from where are they received? What is their source? What is their biblical reference? #gaslighting

This comment is VERY instructive. Please know that this is the last of a very long conversation in which the unbiblical nature of Paul’s teachings have been clearly shown to this person.

So, we have here a couple of things. First, Paul gave us the “proper” understanding of things. The implication is that he did so in contrast to the 12 real Apostles. Secondly, the validity of Paul’s teachings is not measured by comparison to the biblical text or the teachings of the Messiah but rather to his calling. He was called therefore he is correct. How do we know that he was called? Because he said that he was and we MUST believe him. In addition, if one “is called” then they can teach anything - despite its contradictory nature to the scriptures - and we MUST believe them because, well, they are called. Finally, Paul is directly and eternally tethered to “Christ”. He and “Christ” are one. Thus, to reject Paul is to reject “Christ” because they are one….because Paul was called…because he told us he was. Scripture is not the standard. The vision. The call. That’s the standard. And if you object to the teaching , based on scripture, you have reject the Savior because he is Paul or, at least, one with Paul.

This person makes our point. Paul is the true “Savior” of Christianity. He is indispensable.

Btw, did you know that James almost got left out of the xtian bible?? So, this persons claim about having to accept the one called ONLY applies to Paul. You can reject James…..no issue there. Smh

From Dr. James Tabor’s book “Paul and Jesus”.

When we say that Paul’s “gospel” was not the same as that of the Messiah….this is a fact of both scholarship and his own testimony.
