Apparently the next major HG2 main story update will drop on the next day.
(Next image) And this "generic looking NPC" I mentioned in the previous post seems to be "very important".
She even got a dedicated event banner and lots of face textures according to game files.
I mean how the hell a "generic looking NPC" have 10 different faces while a paid character in this game have less than that?

According to someone in the 10.2 beta group uploaded a suspecting image and I saw a behavior that look like a possible major engine update.
I peeked into this beta engine version and found that the game engine comes with a very recent version that looks like same as the Honkai Star Rail game engine (with slightly higher minor version).
This confirmed the theory Houkai Gakuen 2 is getting supported for very long time.
Highly suspect there might be a PC port of the game somewhere🤡
Other leaks:
*There's a newbie banner that have behavior look as same as Honkai Star Rail (except with a 30d timer on them), max 200 pulls and there will be 2 selector pity (each cost 100 pulls). Standard 10 pity random anything still applies.
*This newbie banner is modernized with more recent equipment instead of outdated one since... You know when there is still Kiana beating egg gacha animation...
*Modernized new player experiences... Looks highly sus!
*Dev: Hey we can't add more stars to equipment so how can we make it more powerful? Another dev: Just slap more stars on top of stars -> So a Fantasy Legend sniper equipment got gold stars replaced by scarlet stars🤡 Free upgrade to all players.
