Did a little experiment last night and went live. It was quiet the learning curve. I think this is something I would do again and have some spots that would potentially be better or at least have a little more action and possibly closer shots. Unfortunately this isn't something I will be able to plan in advanced or really give much notice for for those who want to tune into live streams because I cant control when I have the down time to do so. Over all I think I will end up doing more but please let me know what you think or thought for those who tuned in.

Excited to announce a new video series project. A few months or so ago, I asked if anyone would be interested in a Q/A type video. I have decided to take that idea and incorporate it into a podcast type video that I will be hosting with friends, fellow spotters and other people from the aviation industry. In the series we will be talking about things happening in the Michigan aviation scene as well as answering questions and getting to know some of the people in the MI aviation scene. We are getting set up to record the first video which will feature my friend and amazing aviation photographer Robert aka "detroitspotter" on Instagram where we plan to announce another upcoming video series that we will be making together. We have a whole list of topics to talk about but if you have a question or something you would be interested in seeing covered, drop a comment below.

I have a new video coming June 3rd. Unlike my spotting comps in the past, this will feature more than just takeoffs & landings and is geared more towards the sights and scenes of the airport. It is a different style of video and filming than I have done in the past, with some shots not having any type of zooming or panning in them. My intent was to have the focus be not on specific aircraft but more the views of the airport. Please leave a comment on the video when it posts with what you think and let me know if you like this style of video and if I should do more.

Would there be any interest in a Q&A/ FAQ answering type video? If so what are some of the questions about the channel you would like to see answered.

The channel hit 11K subs a few days ago. Just wanted to thank everyone for the continued support over the years. I am absolutely blown away by how well my last narrated video is doing. Over 55K views and 1400 likes (and still getting a ton of views). Thanks for all the likes and comments on that video.

Story time. So this kid used my content with out my permission (happens a lot) and YouTube flagged it under my copyright section. Me being someone that doesn't allow others to use my content, proceeded to request it be removed. Now YouTube has 2 different options for this, Immediate removal or a 7 day notice where as long as the person removes it before 7 days, they wont get a copyright strike. I was nice and used the second option. Well needless to say Mr. Turboprop aviation did nothing and YouTube removed the video after 7 days and gave him a strike. He was obviously less than happy and started posting all his hate towards me and telling people to go report my channel. His friend (aka him on just another account) even made a short showing him reporting me for impersonation (how a channel started in 2007 is "impersonating" one that was started in 2023 is a little beyond me but). His friend (again, him on a different account) proceed to tell me "I am dead if I don't reply" and that he is going to "send me to hell", YT flagged and removed those comments real quick for obvious reasons. Real class act channel and "fan base".
