Normally, when I go to a Salvation Army, I look for the games, but since they didn't have any (or they moved them to someplace else that I am not aware of) today (9/19/2024), I ended up scooping these up, and all for under $3 too.

September 9, 2024 marks the 29th anniversary of the PlayStation launching in North America! To celebrate my favorite line of gaming consoles, here's a special piece of Ellie I put together! (As well as a new version of my watermark for artwork)
This was originally a sketch of Ellie to test some tweaks to her hairstyle, which is why it looks different than usual, and since I had this sketch in the works already, I figured I'd convert it to this instead.

I'm actually losing my mind with the training mode in Onimusha 3, it is driving me absolutely mad.
Furthermore, I hate it when games, in any capacity, make me super stressed out with how much it tests my patience, and this is one of them.
I might just have to skip the training, thus, losing out on obtaining the Black Vest, and thus, not being able to show the "True" ending to the game, JUST to keep my sanity intact.

Due to an unexpected thunderstorm knocking out the power yesterday (8/27/2024), the regularly scheduled next part of the Mega Man X Command Mission playthrough has been delayed to Friday (8/30/2024), we apologize for any inconveniences.

Finally got to work on something art related and get it finished, because crunch has winded down just a smidge in my schedule. Decided to draw Ellie in a more fun, energetic pose (even if I did end up tracing over an existing image with some tweaks (which, if you know what image it is that I traced, you deserve a cookie))
Also included is an alt where Ellie is wearing a shirt with a heart design on it, as that was the initial shirt she had due to the source image having one, but I made a star version of the shirt too.
Not only is this an experiment with posing, but, there are some design elements I experimented on with Ellie here, such as: Having the shirt smaller/have the torso longer to show more of her belly than before, have her hair be a shade of pink that Nana sports (the Nana from Mega Man X Command Mission), and a slightly altered skin tone, where Ellie is just a bit more tan than usual, oh, and Ellie wearing a shirt where the collar goes up the neck by a little.
Again, these are just design tweaks I am experimenting with, but I'd be interested in feedback, if not, enjoy a fun little sketch of Ellie regardless!

Really sorry for not posting anything here for a while, I've not been able to get anything art related done, or have anything else interesting to post here, so, enjoy a recent sketch of Ellie in the Puyo Puyo style (or at least, close enough to it), by my good friend, Xero-J.
There are plenty more art styles that I can think of where Ellie would translate well to.

So, not only was today (7/29/2024) the day the Xbox 360 Marketplace shuts down (it will be sorely missed), but, it also happens to be my mother's birthday! (Bless her) And so, like 2023's birthday, I was put in charge of making a cake!
May I present, the Sour Cream Lemon Bundt Cake with Blackberry Glaze!...Well, it WOULD have been a blackberry glaze, but making that requires a blender, something we are missing a piece for it, so, I had to settle on a glaze using orange extract, and a very small amount of coconut extract.
It looks a lot like the Vanilla Buttermilk Bundt Cake I made in 2023, but of course, the difference here is that the cake is lemon, and while I did not have lemon zest, I had the next best thing with lemon extract, it still turned out nicely.
I actually outdid myself with this one, because this beats out the Vanilla Buttermilk Bundt Cake as the most moist cake I've ever had, and that cake already set such an impossibly high bar.

Yup, this is how I'm spending the final day of the Xbox 360 Marketplace being up before shutdown.
I can't make a wired connection, and the wireless connection is downloading items at a glacial pace, I'm even occasionally being disconnected from Xbox Live.
But with only $2.42 to spend at the store, what can I really do?
I really couldn't make the most of it before the store closure, which is rather sad...
