I redesigned Spindle bc I can. She will be a major NPC in an upcoming DND campaign of mine (in place of an actual story before I WRITE said story with the help of the campaign plot.) Fun fact, Spindle is 8'2" and weighs about 30 pounds including the dress.
*Spindle is halfway on the floor, her needle-like feet standing rigid while her entire top half is completely limp and folded over, one hand holding her hat in place as she stares up at the party (or down, from her perspective, as her head is upside-down.)* "Oh- hel-looooo~! What have we here, oh! Alice! What a pleasant surprise, who are these new friends you brought with you? Are they from Wonderland too? Come in, come in!" *She makes no effort to right herself as she ushers the party in to sit down in the comfortable waiting area. The wind-up key in her back is spinning at a healthy pace.*
*Her entire body clicks upwards into a fully upright position, standing about 8 and a half feet tall. She then starts to tap forward with tiny steps from her needle legs, then her extra hands from under her dress pick up the slack and propel her across the floor, her head and body spinning in opposite directions before coming to a stop in front of the party, held up by her extra appendages with her needle legs curled below her.* "Oh, Alice, you look ever so tired, dear. Come, let me get you some *special* tea, it'll warm you right up! As for the rest of you, can i... Help you in any way?"
*Spindle hums an eerie tune as she makes tea.* "Tea tastes the best when the cup is blue, especially if it's made of white china with a single blue stripe around the rim... The stripe can be no more than 1-1.5 centimeters away from the rim of the cup, and can be no more than 2 centimeters wide... Otherwise it'll taste TOO blue, and we don't want that, no no no! Hmhmhm!" *Her head makes clicking noises as it merrily shakes from side to side.*

"The itsy bitsy spider plucked the fly off of her web, its wings buzzing between her fingers as she examined this helpless insect.
"The spider had felt helplessness before. She knew nothing deserved to be or feel truly defeated in such a way.
"So she let the fly free."
Fun fact: Spindle's most felt emotion is pity. Not revenge-driven craziness, not anger. True pity for those so weak that they can do nothing as higher beings trample their world, tearing their lives apart bit by bit. But crazy people can still end up hurting those around them, even if that's not their intention...
