As the 1st anniversary of World steelpan day comes to an end, i look back Happy that this twin island is finally SERIOUSLY claiming their national instrument and showcasing it to the world!
Had the pleasure of being there this year again and covering the whole event, and bringing you guys along for the ride. It was a wonderful vibe in the chat and to all those who didnt chat due to watching on their tv`s i love you guys too <3
I got to meet several and chill with several local and equally wonderful content creators such as
@TrinbagoVibes This guy is just suck an aura of fun and vibes as his channel is appropriately named, all about being upbeat in life and living in the moment! Rajeev is a top notch guy with a uniquely great channel i urge you to check out. Its easy to talk to him and it was great spending a lil time at the event.
@CehTV Had the pleasure of meeting this creator as well after previously consuming a lot of their content. They focus mainly on steelpan events, concerts, carnival events and cultural events. I spent just about most of the event next to this individual and they ooze mellow chill vibes with a soft spoken way. I can tell they are a person of great character and hope to vibe at future events. Their channel is worth the follow as they really do cover some great events with fantastic quality!
@gartsy Ive seen garsty at most of the same events ive covered this year but only just had the opportunity to talk with him briefly at this event, but im sure we will be seeing much of each other in the future! Gartsy boast of a chill, laid back demeanor and his UP CLOSE and PERSONAL type of content! He really provides the "feel your part of it" experience! One moment your backstage, or in the pan itself. Has great viewership and a cool personality, i recommend you check out his channel 100%
@martin.jhorsford5645 Known as Pan Unity Center. Martin is an elder gentleman this ive been seeing for YEARS at the same events im at but only formally started conversating this year with him! This man is a class act, full of knowledge, and ambitious! Martin covers events that fly under the radar from big media cooperation and he bring you the scenes from events you probably dont know exist here on the island. @BehindDRack Denzel boast of unique being the scenes content of pan practice and shows, as a player of bp renegades he has the insider advantage of supplying such content. He has big plans for his channel and has recently completed upgrading his gear so expect more content in the future coming your way. There are several nicely edited videos already on his channel thats worth the view.
@WACK901fmTT Meet kenny at the event as they handled the audio and the big screen tv yall saw at the event! They did a wonderful job and continue to showcase our culture to the world! Wack needs no outlandish introduction as they has been doing a phenomenal job for quite a number of years. Pleasure to have had a brief conversation. Kenny is a well respected guy in the community.

Satie from our radicle community showed me tremendous hospitality whilst I was in her neck of the woods! We vybed the whole time at point borough day. Genuinely a good hearted person and it was truly a please to meet her!

A lot of you ask or wonder why I'm so humble and grounded? This is my answer! My grandmother has been the rock in my life that has instilled those values within me. This is who I thank for me carrying myself with morals and values. In a world where a lot of people fail to make it to this age, she's still here 80 years later, in fading health but strong as ever personality! Happy 80th birthday to my grandmother and everything!

***UPDATE***
Half the battle has been won! So the tuesday carnival stream is no longer blocked worldwide! Won that appeal. Now unto trying to win against the stream being blocked in USA and Canada.
