A video snaphot of our narrowboat journey through the canals and rivers of England. This recent venture into the world of YouTube and video is a learning curve I have yet to master but hopefully it will improve in time.
Like so many others, my healthy obsession with boating started at an early age with family holidays on the Norfolk Broads in the 50's and 60's and being transported into this watery world by reading the entire series of children' books by Arthur Ransome. Further Inspired by the vision of LTC Rolt and Robert Aitken I joined the IWA as a junior member when canal restoration was in its infancy and thankfully their work continues today.
As for our boating, we have been fortunate enough to cruise and explore many waterways over the years in a variety of craft, not only in England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland but also further afield in France, Italy, Germany, Greece and Turkey and this journey continues ....
