Just heard about Torben Ulrich's passing.
Most of us knew him for Lars and his support to Metallica. Personally by watching many videos from the early 2000s and some from the '80s/'90s, even if it was just for a few seconds or minutes, I could tell how much he meant to Lars and the other members, especially to James. That speaks to the quality of the human being and father he was.
My thoughts are with Lars and his family, the fact that this happened just days before Lars's birthday saddens me deeply.
The Metallica family sends thoughts of strength and solidarity to Lars and his famliy during this trying time.
