25 weeks!
I’m nearing the 3rd trimester, and the almost-daily naps have started. What would you like to know about pregnancy? I’m planning on doing videos in the next week or two. I know I’ll go over my somewhat-minimal baby purchases once I have them all to show you.
👶 Other topics I was thinking of- what sounds good?
👶 Supplements I’ve used
👶 Navigating morning sickness and how liver helped
👶 Lab tests/screening I do and the ones I opt out of.
👶 Exercise in pregnancy
👶 What I’m doing differently to try to prevent tearing my abs this time
👶 Meal prep for the month after baby. I do try to as much as possible rest for 30 days to prevent infection and heal.
🤗 By no means am I going to turn my blog/youtube into a pregnancy/baby theme- so let me know your GAPS/Keto/Carnivore questions too! I have a Vitamin C on Carnivore video written out, and probably a few more 🥩 carnivore related videos outlined, so I’ll go dig those up and do those too!
All my baby-related posts are here on the blog: healthhomeandhappiness.com/category/parenting/preg…

Not your typical pregnancy craving! My baby demands liver at least once a week (this is cod liver), and while I haven’t been able to even stay keto, ‘we’ are drinking lots of grass fed milk with extra cream and still aiming to get most of my calories from animal foods.
😫 I have major food aversions to red meat, even bacon, which I’m hoping go away soon! I’m almost done with the first trimester.
The doctor looked up at me, surprised, after my blood panel and said all my nutrient levels looked really good!
I’m getting mainstream prenatals until 30ish weeks and then I’ll transfer to a home birth midwife that I have already picked out and am very excited to work with. I’m getting mainstream care both because it’s covered 100% by my insurance and also because I try to do as much mainstream medical stuff as I feel comfortable with because I find that it helps to have established care in case I do need them down the line.
I’ll do a pregnancy video later on 🙂
* this pregnancy is very wanted but was very unplanned and we were actively preventing. Be warned, highly nutrient dense diets are also high fertility diets!

How and why we feed our dog raw chicken, including the bones: healthhomeandhappiness.com/homemade-dog-food.html Modern dogs are riddled with the same problems humans in industrialized nations are. Allergies, flakey dry skin, joint pain, cancer. Nutrient deficiencies and allergies caused by well-meaning pet owners, predatory profit-seeking pet food companies, and ignorant veterinary advice are the biggest contributor to chronic illness in dogs.

Health Home and Happiness is run by Cara Comini and we believe that a healthy body and mind starts with a healthy gut! We did a gut-healing diet (the Gut and Psychology Syndrome, or GAPS/SCD) for my daughter for autism and were amazed at how the whole family saw near-immediate benefits from the diet.
Since I've seen what a change it's made in my own family, I'm passionate to help you make big, or little, healthy changes in your own family that will provide a lifetime of great health, good moods, abundant energy, and more!
We're also a very *normal* family who doesn't want our whole life to revolve around cooking! I share tips, tricks, hacks, and time saving measures to get the nutrition you need so that you, too, can be a healthy, happy, and active family!
We post new content every Monday to help your family live a healthier, happier life!
