Anatomical studies are fun π
What was important in this study:
1- Be sure to add specular highlights on both the gums and teeth for a "wet" look.
2- Add yellow to the teeth to make them look real. NOTHING is pure white in real life.
3- Also, teeth are semi-transparent. Adding some subsurface scattering will make them feel more real as well.

If you want to turn #mydaily5 into a practice session, don't stress about the details at all. Make the drawings as quick as possible so you can do more than one. You can learn more from three sketch drawings than from one perfectly polished one. πͺ

Here's how to simplify complex objects like crystals to paint them. (Steps below π)
01- Simple sketch - Think of geometric forms and shapes
02- Simple color - Analogous color scheme can be created with a gradient made of 2 colors adjacent on the color wheel ("yellow-green" and "Dark green," for example)
03- Adding light(s) - This step requires a little understanding of "light theory" but essentially I been adding on this crystal a blue light and a green light.
These steps are like the 80/20 rule. They form the 20% skills that give 80% results.
All you have to do from there is add a little texture and love to your painting β€οΈ
