in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
I read A LOT of books... Or I listen to them on Audiobook... I wish everybody did that... So, I decided I'm going to post here, every book that I read as I finish it... Sometimes I read books multiple times... 1 specific one (not this) I've read 19 times... I just finished this one and it's an excellent book... I listened to the audiobook with Mr. Kennedy narrating... I always liked and respected this guy but I'm even more sure of that after this book... In case the man himself were to ever see this, I want to say something... I don't tend to pass out praise or compliments to many people but when I do, you bet your a** that I mean it... This dude is f*****g impressive... Tim Kennedy is both a credit to this country as well as to the entire human race... There are all manner of badasses of various sorts out there in this world... No shortage at all, but some stand out among the others... I don't think I have to explain that to many people already but it was worth saying... I'm not exactly stupid, incapable, or physically weak... I didn't land at the bottom of the barrel in any of those categories or even close... However, I sure as s**t wouldn't pick a fight with this guy... I'm a pretty damn good fighter too... I've trained to varied but mostly higher levels in Taekwondo, Aikido (stop laughing please), Judo, Krav Maga, Muy Thai, and a "wee bit" of Wrestling but not enough of it to have any real skill to speak of in relation to it... I'm also 220 pounds and quick as f**k... I think he would still beat my a** to a bloody pulp... I feel it's best not to try... Additionally, I wouldn't pick a verbal fight with him, I think he's a bit of a sleeper flying under the radar posing as a knuckle-dragger... I know that type because I am that type... I really do have a great deal of respect for this guy... The more that we have and create as a country who turn out like him, the higher we'll fly... I highly recommend reading this book if you have interest in this manner of things... Well done with said book as well Mr. Kennedy and I Salute You Sir! @TimkennedyMMA

Updated Guitar Practice Stats (Mine Personally) From The End of my Play Session Yesterday... That would be December 13th, 2023... I'm just getting ready to start again today... Excited that I may get 4 hours in...
That is my entire life's experience with a guitar in my hands... The only exception is that I had two lessons on acoustic guitar when I was 12 and didn't even learn to tune the guitar... Years later, I picked up Rocksmith and an electric guitar and The Gods spoke to me... The better I get at guitar, the more it would seem that I find The Gods have to say to me...
What is my point? ... None... You decide what to make of that, it's simply to give you an idea where I am in playing this thing... 1,012 hours and 20 minutes is exactly how much time I've spent on a guitar attempting to play a song in some capacity... I have no other experience except I played drums (badly) for about 3 years... I didn't feel that activity in even remotely the same way as I do with a guitar...
It is what it is.

The 1st Time I picked up to attempt to play a guitar was on December 15th of 2021 with Rocksmith 2014. As of July 23, 2024...
I have roughly 1,350 hours on mostly Lead and Rhythm but also about 12% of time spent on Bass as well. I play / practice at this every day. I will, and do play 5 hours a day if I can. I've actually missed 1 day in roughly 800 days. Not a typo that.
I love playing guitar more than anything I can think of. I am very much proof that music can calm at least some savage beasts. I'm not a pro and I'm not going to tell you I'm an amazing guitarist. I'm getting better by the day but I'm still very new to this. I keep these to study the music & monitor my progress. I post them because who knows, maybe I inspire somebody else to pick up a guitar and follow that dream as well.
Consider giving me a thumbs up, or at least not a thumbs down is awesome!
I am Erik & Northman is a call sign (Not Related to "True Blood" or that Skarsgård Film) ... Norðrljós is my Guitar
