Greetings! I hope that you are all keeping safe and well.
Just a heads-up for this Sunday's video, which features the contents of the pictured box, which contains a rather cool RISC-V laptop. This comes with Ubuntu pre-installed, and whilst it's intended for RISC-V developers, demonstrates great progress towards end-user mobile RISC-V hardware.
Looking ahead, a week on Sunday I am planning to upload the "RK3588 vs N100" video that I mentioned in the Arm PC build last week. And at some point I'm sure I'll look at the new Raspberry Pico II microcontroller -- which includes a couple of RISC-V cores in addition to two Arm ones. There's a theme emerging here somewhere . . .
Happy Times & Places,
Chris.

Greetings! I thought you may be interested to know that this Sunday's video is a PC build -- and one based on a Mini-ITX board with an Arm rather than an x86-64 CPU. The parts are as pictured, and it has been one of my favourite ExplainingComputers episodes to shoot for some time. The world of computing keeps evolving . . .
Happy Times & Places,
Chris.
