Watch my NEW video on THE NEW AMALFI COAST!! https://youtu.be/dHwAyMRTPkE?si=1nzf3...
For me the summer is all about the best beach holidays!! There’s nothing better than finding a place with amazing beaches, hidden coves and grottos, and spending the days sunbathing and swimming ☀️☀️🏖️🏖️ I however wasn’t keen on going to an overcrowded, overhyped place where I’d be one of thousands of tourists fighting for a spot on the beach or queueing up to eat at restaurants. The Amalfi Coast has sadly become just that, way too stressful to visit at the height of summer, but right NEXT DOOR to the Amalfi Coast is the Cilento Coast, with the same amazing coastline and beautiful views, just without the intense crowds! There are some epic boat rides to amazing blue grottos (with no queue of boats waiting to get in) and hidden coves, and the pace of life even in summer feels relaxed and comfortable. It’s also where the Italians vacation so if you’re after a slice of the true dolce vita then I’d give this place a go! Watch the video to see this beautiful region of Italy. Thank me later!! 🇮🇹🇮🇹❤️❤️

WATCH MY NEW VIDEO ON THE NEW AMALFI COAST, CILENTO! The Cilento Coast is right NEXT DOOR to the Amalfi Coast, and yet it’s a hidden gem. It has the same beautiful views as the Amalfi, majestic green mountains and turquoise waters which hide blue coves and grottos. It’s a STUNNING region in Southern Italy, and it doesn’t suffer from the overcrowding and commercialisation of its neighbour the Amalfi Coast. So next time you plan a summer vacation to Italy, consider the Cilento Coast!! 🇮🇹🇮🇹❤️❤️ Don’t forget to LIKE, COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE!!

COMMENT ON THIS CAPTION 👉👉 This summer I’ve been hearing a lot about over tourism in certain places and the protests being staged by locals who are tired of overcrowding and other negative consequences that come with unrestrained and often irresponsible tourism. I’ve been in Italy for most of this summer and there are no shortage of places which suffer from over tourism here, Rome, Lake Como, and the Amalfi Coast are some that come to mind. What really confuses me though is that there are SO many undiscovered gems in Italy which are just as beautiful as the well known tourist destinations (check out my latest video on Calabria). Take the Cilento Coast for example, once the Amalfi Coast ends, you’re in Cilento, a breathtaking region in Italy with majestic mountains and turquoise coastline. You can enjoy the same beautiful landscapes as the Amalfi Coast without the hordes of tourists, tourist trap restaurants and tacky souvenir shops. It’s also so much more authentic than the Amalfi Coast because it’s where the Italians go on holiday. Cilento is THE place to go if you want to experience a truly Italian summer, and not the superficial version catering to international tourists in the more popular destinations. It’s SO easy to reach the Cilento Coast too, just like you would get the train from Naples to Salerno on the Amalfi Coast, you just continue on the same train a few more stops to arrive in the Cilento Coast, there are train stations across the region so you can visit a lot of it with public transport. I’d love to know whether anyone has heard of the Cilento Coast, or indeed visited, and what your thoughts are on why people keep going to the same old places?! 🇮🇹🇮🇹 VIDEO COMING SOON! ❤️❤️

Check out my NEW VIDEO on Calabria, Italy, out now!! https://youtu.be/qRs6t0XkyGA?si=7_Evx...
Has anyone been to Calabria and if so where? Calabria felt like a dream, the beauty of this region is beyond belief, endless turquoise coasts, beautiful quaint coastal villages and hidden old towns. For me though, the true beauty of this region lies in its stunning rural interior, so much greenery, majestic mountains, valleys and this is where traditions have been preserved. This is where you can visit a rural home and learn to make pasta by hand, or visit one of many delicious cheese farms, see how the cheese is made and of course taste it! The Calabrese people are some of the most welcoming in all of Italy, what’s more they are so passionate about the land and produce, they eagerly share it with you, teaching you the value of living in sync with nature as much as possible, and how well you can feel by eating food that is in season and fresh. A trip to Calabria can be everything from coastal stays, trips to the mountains, cooking classes, wine and olive oil tasting, it is also relatively undiscovered still (I doubt for much longer), don’t wait too long before you go! 🇮🇹🇮🇹
