Hey loves, many of you asked me how long it took to grow my hair after shaving it. It’s been such a journey 😩After my original shave I shaved it again and cut it back to chin length twice after that. I kept cutting it thinking it was thin and damaged (which it was) but I didn’t know the culprit- weaves! My hair was just way too sensitive for glues, friction and even braids. Which sucks because I LOVE braids. After stopping weaves and following a hair regimen of essential oils and scalp massage my hair grew RAPIDLY. My hair grew from chin length to waist in just 4 years. I rarely used shampoo unless I HAD to and co-washed several times a week. It was work girl, but it was worth it in the end. 🤍
