Expectation and reality.
You know, I thought that the meta before rotation was very hard, but now I realise that it was, as we call it in Russia, "laughable". Which means very easy. Not gonna lie I hate this meta, so disgusting. Almost unplayable. Monored=Rakdos/Boros just drive me crazy.

it turned out that Kiora has an alternative style(copied with Dopp). I am refreshing my favorite historic Simic Ramp Brawl deck. I finally bought The One Ring, Counterspell, even spend wild card for Flare of Denial(cool card), also added Bonny Pall. Thinking to add Consign to Memory(like that spell) or replace Stifle.

It's been a while since I posted anything on my wall. The new cards from Blumborrow are coming. Therefore I decided to share my 5 Top cards from OTJ.
Not gonna lie, It's been a cool set and I had a lot of fun despite the fact that meta was very fast and strong. The biggest surprise in this set for me was the card - High Noon(#5). It easily breaks some archetypes, is quite flexible(we can sac it later) and most important - cheap. (#4)Roxanne is a cool midrange card. But it's also a good ramper and a good DD(damage dealer). If the opponent lets her stay on the board. She'll just win the game. As a big fan of discard I couldn't be more happier when Hostile Investigator(#3) was released. Technically, it's a triple value card - Creature, Potential card(clue) and Discard. Only one card and so much value. It's just amazing. (#2)Cornucopia. I just can't describe my feelings about this card. I can only say one thing - this card is out of reach. It made Sultai and Temur decks playable, very competitive and fun. (#1)Three Steps Ahead. Oh god. This card is broken. Now I can state that it is indeed a little better than Archmage Charm. I played both card a lot, but Three Steps Ahead I like more. It's definitely #1 card in this set.

I also very liked Make Your Own Luck and Simulacrum Synthesizer, but this is Top 5. So I had to make a difficult decision. That was my Top 5 from OTJ. You can leave your tops, it will be interesting to see.

Of course, the best counterspell ever printed already exists - Archmage's Charm. I was just being a little dramatic. But this new spell is very powerful.

The series of dumb questions continues. Could this new spell work if I put Judge in gy. Could I return it and attach? So, my idea is to fill in gy with Atraxa, Judge and for example Mysterious Limousine. And depending on the situation, return them or all at once.
