Congratulations to Kate Shortman and Izzy Thorpe, who won a silver medal in the artistic swimming duet event at the 2024 Paris Olympics over the weekend. Sprinter Desiree Henry also won a silver medal for her participation in the women’s 4x100m relay.

Which eVTOL companies are already listed on the stock market? CNBC Tech took a look at five.

Joby Aviation is listed on the NYSE via a SPAC merger. Notable Backers have included Reid Hoffman, Marc Pincus and Delta Airlines. Joby is targeting 2025 as the year its commercial operations take to the skies.

Also listed in the U.S. via a SPAC merger, is Archer Aviation. Notable investors have included Cathie Wood’s ARK Investment and automaker, Stellantis. Archer Aviation is hoping its 4-passenger model, Midnight, to enter service in 2025.

U.K.-based Vertical Aerospace is also listed via a SPAC merger with Broadstone Acquisition, which was set-up by, among others, Hugh Osmond, founder of the Punch Taverns, one of the UK’s largest Pub chains. Vertical is targeting full certification by the end of 2026.

China’s Ehang Holdings is listed on the Nasdaq as an ADR. Notable investors have included Vanguard, State Street and Goldman Sachs. The company already has certification in China.

Also listed on the Nasdaq is Lilium, this German based company has long been backed by the likes of China’s Tencent and Earlybird Venture Capital. It’s targeting certification in 2026.
