I'm having so much fun on my gelli plate using some found objects from outside! I love the colors too--Payne's grey, raw umber and light gold. The possibilities are endless on a gelli plate! What are questions you have about the process? I would love to help you get started with your own prints!

When you are sitting down to create your art or craft: do you have an idea of what you are going to make or do you let your creativity guide you in the moment?

I am a mixed media artist who loves to share my process-- I try to make art that makes people feel connected and seen. I enjoy creating videos that are helpful, relaxing and inspiring. Through my art I aim to convey messages or a feeling that uplifts and inspires others to be the best version of themselves. We can all be each other's cheerleader--I'm rooting for you!
I always thought being an artist was for other people. As a kid I was always happily surrounded by coloring books, scrap paper, glue and markers--it was instinctual for me to create dioramas, collages and art work by the droves!
It was only after many years (and careers) of trying to fit my round self into a square hole that I realized being an artist wasn't just for others, it was for ME too.
It all started with some adult painting classes--abstract art burst my heart wide open; it brought me back to my artistic self and I haven't looked back since.
