Had a wonderful time performing at the "Rockabilly Battle Royale" in Tampa over the weekend. It's truly a honor playing with these awesome human beings and seeing the joy on my daughter Abigail's face performing with us was so priceless for me. Truly a great evening to be alive. Videos coming soon

Yesterday I had the honor & privilege to play with Bill Haley Jr. and the Comets at the Florida Strawberry Festival. Bill Jr. Is certainly keeping the legacy of his father's music alive and well. Playing this music that I love with these fellow torch bearers certainly meant the world to me. I'll have a video interview and performance with Bill Haley Jr. soon on my YouTube channel. :)

Today marks the 64th year since Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper died in a plane crash just north of Clear Lake. 3 years ago I made a pilgrimage out to Clear Lake, Iowa to pay my respects. I video documented my entire experience visiting the crash site and the location of their final performance. Join me on this very personal journey as we relive their final moments.

I had a very proud Father moment over the weekend. My daughter Abigail performed with me as our lead vocalist for a Misfits Tribute Show in Dunedin, Florida. We gave the songs the full Rockabilly/Western Swing treatment. I'll be posting a video soon of the show. Cheers everyone and have a great week. :)

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know that my daughter and I are safe. Yesterday the sunny skies of Tampa Bay was anything but that as Hurricane Ian came rolling in and it seemed to stay with us for what felt like 24 hours. Right now it is back to blue skies and sunny. I've got a few things wrong with the home from the storm but nothing that can't be fixed or replaced. Sadly many people weren't as lucky as me. Two hours south from my house there is a lot of devastation. My heart goes out to those people who lost everything. I'm hoping to get a lesson out sometime Saturday. Much love to you all out there. Stay safe and keep on rockin' friends. :)

23 years ago my band "The Blue Flame Combo" recorded our first album. It featured 12 original tracks and 3 covers played in the traditional Rockabilly, Gene Vincent & His Blue Caps style. When it was first released I can remember the 24 year old me shipping out 1000 CDs to our international music distributor who paid us up front. The album recieved great reviews worldwide and the CD cover art has been featured in the book "Rockabilly - The Illustrated History. For just $7 plus S&H you can have a little slice of 90s Rockabilly history. I've seen the CD selling for much more on Amazon & Ebay. So grab yourself an original copy today. You can pick one up at my website at damianbacci.com

Do you recognize that smile? This picture was taken 35 years ago. This was my first electric guitar and my very first time performing in front of a group of people at a backyard BBQ at my Grandparents house in Blue Point, NY. What was your first guitar?
